Hot IQs

I discovered the band ‘Hot IQs’ in August of 2008 when I first started listening to their ‘Dangling Modifier EP’.  They disbanded in 2009 after releasing one last single ‘Nightstand’. Eventually, I sorta forgot about them. Recently, I was importing all of my loved tracks on last.fm into Clementine (the awesome music player I use) when I realized I didn’t have any of their music anymore. It was not available through my normal channels for obtaining music but it is still for sale on iTunes – for only $4.95! Kinda glad I still have a laptop with Windows!

Grateful Dead

There are probably others but this is just an example of artists I love with ‘dead’ in their name. Not morbid at all…

new music

I added a bunch of new music to my phone before work last night. Unfortunately, I did not have time to check that it was tagged properly. It’s not. It’s tagged so horribly that if I play it, the Last.fm client on my phone won’t even attempt to scrobble and auto-correct it. I am very sad.

Y solo por un beso…

I’m not a huge fan of Aventura’s work in general. (I like bachata but they are just ‘OK’.) However. Their song ‘Un Beso’ is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.

It’s one of their less well-known songs but I definitely recommend it, especially for those looking for a song/album to listen to to get into Aventura.

My Favorite Tracks

You can download a list of the tracks I have favorited on last.fm as an XSPF (XML Shareable Playlist Format) file.
